Due to the similarity in shape, the Chinese name of it is Horse’s hoof Lily (shaped like an inverted Horse’s hoof), or the common name is Calla Lily (shaped like a Collar).
The part of the outer layer that looks like a petal is “Spathe” (the spathe is named after its shape resembles a candlestick for Buddha), and the middle inside the spathe is the real flower of the Calla Lily.
Because of the beautiful line-shape, it is often used as the main flower when creating flower arrangements. When maintaining, pay attention to the stem as it is easily to be break. Don’t put too much water to the vase, it is enough to only reach the base of the flower feet, otherwise it will easily rot.
