Introduction of Spray Roses
Multiflora roses, also known as spray roses, refer to roses with multiple blooms on a single stem, while a single bloom on a stem is simply called a rose.
Colors and Characteristics of Spray Roses
Spray roses come in a wide variety of colors and numerous varieties, commonly including red, orange, yellow, green, purple, pink, and white. Besides solid colors, there are also bicolor flowers, patterned varieties, and those with flower shapes similar to garden roses. Spray roses that resemble garden roses are often called “bubble roses” in the market because their shape looks like multiple bubbles.
Applications of Spray Roses
The richly colored spray roses are ideal for use as filler flowers in floral arrangements. They sometimes can also be used as the main flowers.
Cares of Spray Roses
When caring for spray roses, they require ample water, and the stems should be cut at an angle to enhance water absorption. Additionally, when handling them, be cautious of the thorns on the stems and the undersides of the leaves to avoid injury.
