Introduction of Alstroemeria
Alstroemeria, “小百合” in Chinese, also known as the six-petal flower or daffodil lily, has six petals upon close observation.
Colors and Characteristics of Alstroemeria
Alstroemeria come in a variety of colors, including basic red, pink, orange, yellow, purple, and white. Their flower stems are relatively fragile, but each stem can bear multiple blooms.

The three larger outer ones are actually sepals, while the three inner petals with markings are the true petals. The markings on the petals help attract bees to assist in pollination.
Application of Alstroemeria
When in bud, alstroemeria are not very noticeable, but once they bloom, each stem can display six to ten flowers. Holding a bunch in your hand creates a very rich and vibrant scene. They are a great filler flower for floral arrangements.
