Introduction of Hydrangea
Hydrangeas, also known as “Eight Immortals Flowers” or “Azaleas”, are commonly seen in the summer. In the fall, there are a limited number of autumn-colored varieties, while they are generally less common in other seasons.
Colors and Appearance of Hydrangea
The color of hydrangeas is influenced by the soil’s pH level: acidic soil tends to produce blue flowers, while neutral to alkaline soil results in red flowers.
Many people mistakenly think the petals are the actual flowers, but those are actually sepals; the true flowers are the small ones located in the center of the sepals.

Cares of Hydrangea
Hydrangeas absorb water very well, so when caring for them, the vase should be deep and filled with plenty of water. Remember to cut the stems at an angle and make a cross-shaped cut at the bottom to improve water absorption.
